Script execution via insufficient input validation
Published Jan 14, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Security Manager before 4.24 allows remote attackers to execute script code through a crafted link. The web-based management interface processes user-supplied input without sufficient validation, although Cisco does not identify the affected parameters. A user must click the link; resulting script runs in the interface context and can access sensitive browser-based information.
