Observable response discrepancy in Cisco Enterprise Chat and Email before 12.6(1)_ES1 allows remote attackers to enumerate usernames. The web-based management interface returns different authentication responses for valid and invalid usernames, disclosing whether an account exists. No authentication or user interaction is required; confirmed account names can support password guessing or other follow-on attacks.
