Authenticated script execution via unvalidated crafted links
Published May 3, 2022 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Cisco Firepower Management Center Software allows remote authenticated users to execute script via crafted links. The web-based management interface fails to validate user-supplied link input before a browser renders it for another interface user. Exploitation requires valid credentials and persuading a user to click the link, enabling script execution in the interface context or access to browser-based data.
