Browser script execution via unescaped accountant fields
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Dolibarr ERP & CRM before 16.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The admin/accountant.php handler stores town, name, and accountant-code inputs with filters that permit double quotes, then places those values in double-quoted form attributes without HTML escaping. Administrator access is required to save a payload, and execution requires another user to view the affected setup data, exposing that user's browser session to script-controlled reads and actions.
