Stored XSS via unescaped element URL
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in ThemeFuse Brizy - Page Builder before 2.4.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through an element URL. The Icon and Button elements accept a crafted Link to value and render it into post output without sanitizing or escaping the URL. Contributor access is sufficient to store the payload, but a user must view or preview the post for it to execute in that user's browser.
