Local privilege escalation via dm-bow range race

Use-after-free in Android kernel dm-bow allows local users with System execution privileges to gain elevated privileges without user interaction. dm_bow_dtr and related functions remove ranges fetched from the dm-bow red-black tree without consistently protecting them from concurrent access, allowing a range to be freed while still in use. The race requires local access and existing System execution privileges; successful exploitation elevates privileges without user interaction.
