Information disclosure in SurfaceControl in Google Android 12 and 12L allows local users to read stale process memory through a crafted Parcel. SurfaceControl::writeToParcel serializes unused fields without first zero-initializing them, exposing their prior memory contents to an untrusted process. Exploitation requires local low-privileged execution, needs no user interaction, and affects confidentiality without changing data or interrupting service.
