Browser script execution via unescaped task labels
Published Jun 8, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Fabian Kromer Titra before 0.77.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser. Dashboard and project-chart code passes attacker-controlled task names into HTML-backed labels without encoding, while tooltip rendering interpolates unescaped values into markup. Low-privileged access and victim interaction are required; exploitation runs script in the victim's Titra origin and can expose or alter session-accessible data.
