Account takeover via unsanitized project titles
Published Jun 7, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in NocoDB before 0.91.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in another user's browser through a project title. The project API stores an unsanitized title that the interface later renders; the fix adds server-side project-title sanitization before persistence. Exploitation requires project access and a victim to view the crafted title, enabling actions in the victim's NocoDB session, including account takeover.
