Information disclosure in Google Android 12L System allows local users to read hotspot state through an unauthorized state update. The updateApState method in SoftApManager.java exposes hotspot state without performing the required permission check. A local app needs no additional execution privileges or user interaction, and the reported consequence is limited to disclosure.
