SQL injection in SourceCodester Prison Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data through an inmate id. The inmate-view handler accepts SQL syntax in the id parameter, allowing a UNION SELECT payload to alter the database query and return database-derived values. Administrative access is required, and the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of database information.
