Parcel format mismatch in Android 10, 11, 12, and 12L allows local users to execute Intents with system privileges. GateKeeperResponse.writeToParcel handles a zero-length byte-array payload inconsistently with createFromParcel, allowing a malicious app's Bundle to change contents after reserialization. Exploitation requires user-level application execution but no user interaction, and the resulting Intent runs with system privileges.
