Physical information disclosure via unchecked HID device type

Out-of-bounds read in Android kernel USB HID drivers allows physically proximate attackers to disclose kernel data through a crafted HID device. The lg_probe function and related probes cast an HID parent as a USB interface and read its interface descriptor without first verifying that the HID object is backed by a real USB device. Physical access to attach a malicious HID device is required; exploitation needs no privileges or user interaction and exposes kernel memory without permitting modification or service interruption.
