Remote code execution via NFC double free
Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Remote code execution in Android 10, 11, 12, and 12L allows remote attackers to execute code through NFC system processing. The ce_t4t_data_cback function in ce_t4t.cc can write out of bounds after a double free while handling NFC tag data. Exploitation requires delivery of crafted NFC data to an affected device, but no additional privileges or user interaction are required.
