Untrusted pointer dereference in GE Digital CIMPLICITY 2022 and earlier allows local users to execute arbitrary code via crafted input. The gmmiObj!CGmmiOptionContainer path lets data derived from a faulting address redirect control flow instead of rejecting the invalid pointer. Exploitation requires local access and user interaction; successful control-flow redirection runs attacker-chosen code and can also crash the application.
