Script injection via missing administrative nonce validation
Published Jul 18, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in DX Share Selection 1.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through an administrator's browser. The dxss_admin_page() function in dx-share-selection.php processes attacker-controlled requests without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to follow a crafted link or perform a similar attacker-induced action, after which the injected script executes in the administrator's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
