Stored script execution via unescaped Account Name
Published Jun 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in miniOrange 2FA before 1.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through the Account Name setting. The plugin stores that setting and renders it without output escaping after the Change App name action. Administrator privileges and a victim who loads the affected view are required; injected script runs in that victim's browser even when unfiltered_html is disabled.
