CVE-2022-1969Network attack vector

Stored cross-site scripting via forged admin request

Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026

Cross-site request forgery in Scriptcoil Mobile browser color select 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious scripts. The admin_update_data() function accepts a forged settings request without validating a WordPress nonce and stores attacker-controlled input for later rendering. Successful exploitation requires an authenticated site administrator to follow a crafted link or visit an attacker-controlled page, causing the stored script to execute in the affected site's browser context.
