Stored XSS and data changes via missing nonces
Published Jul 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Tuxlog WP Championship before 9.3 allows remote attackers to alter plugin data through a logged-in administrator. Its team and settings administration handlers accept state-changing POST and delete requests without CSRF nonce validation, and the team-name field stores unescaped HTML. A remote attacker must induce a logged-in administrator to submit the forged request, enabling team creation or deletion, settings changes, and stored script execution.
