Cross-site request forgery in Comment License before 1.4.0 allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings when a logged-in admin visits a crafted page. The settings update handler accepts state-changing requests without a CSRF verification token, allowing a malicious site to submit changes in the administrator’s browser. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to be induced to load attacker-controlled content; the impact is configuration integrity loss without direct code execution.
