Script injection via missing settings-page nonce
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in robmcvey Copify 1.3.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject web scripts through plugin settings. The CopifySettings page accepts settings changes without validating a request nonce, allowing attacker-controlled script content to be stored. Exploitation requires a site administrator to submit the forged request, after which the attacker can alter plugin settings and inject scripts into the site.
