History disclosure via interpolated search query
Published Dec 22, 2022 · Updated Apr 16, 2025
SQL injection in Firefox for iOS before 101 allows remote attackers to read browsing history through a crafted History search term. SQLiteHistory interpolates searchTerm directly into a SQL query, allowing an injected UNION SELECT to create a malicious history result. Exploitation requires the user to paste the payload into History search and open the injected result, which sends stored history data to an attacker-controlled page.
