Profile restriction bypass by malicious extensions

Inappropriate extension handling in Google Chrome before 102.0.5005.61 allows attackers to bypass profile restrictions via crafted HTML. Google has not disclosed the named code locus or the incorrect operation that permits the restriction bypass. Installing a malicious extension and opening attacker-crafted HTML are required, after which the extension can evade restrictions imposed on a Chrome profile.
