Heap corruption via stale Transform Feedback cache
Published Jul 27, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Use-after-free in ANGLE in Google Chrome before 102.0.5005.61 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via a crafted HTML page. ANGLE failed to invalidate its validation cache when a Transform Feedback object was deleted, leaving stale state that could reference freed memory. Triggering the flaw requires a user to load attacker-controlled HTML; the public record does not establish a sandbox escape or reliable code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
