Stored script execution via unfiltered Student Roll input
Published May 24, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Student Information System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript via Student Roll input. The Student Roll form at admin/?page=students accepts script markup without filtering, stores it with the record, and renders it when the record is viewed. Administrative credentials are required to submit the payload, and a viewer must open the saved student record for the script to execute in that viewer's browser.
