Authenticated XSS via unsanitized username
Published May 23, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Badminton Center Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run script via the userlist username field. The userlist module at /bcms/admin/?page=user/list inserts the username argument into generated HTML without neutralizing markup, allowing an input containing an image tag and onerror handler to execute in a victim's browser. An authenticated user must submit the crafted value and a victim must view the resulting page; the documented consequence is script execution with limited confidentiality and integrity impact, not service interruption.
