CVE-2022-1787Network attack vector

Stored XSS via CSRF-forced unsanitized settings

Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site request forgery in Kates Gasis Sideblog WordPress Plugin 6.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store script via an admin session. The settings-update handler accepts forged requests without a CSRF check and saves option values without sanitization or escaping. An administrator must visit attacker-controlled content while logged in; the injected script then executes when affected output is viewed.
