CVE-2022-1763Network attack vector

Arbitrary settings update via CSRF to stored XSS

Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-Site Request Forgery in Stephen Ingram Static Page eXtended 2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to change plugin settings via crafted requests. Missing request-forgery checks permit cross-site submissions to administrative settings, and absent output escaping stores attacker-controlled script in some values. The attack requires a logged-in administrator or other user authorized to edit plugin settings and can alter feature access levels or execute stored script in users' browsers.
