Hidden functionality in Dominion Voting Systems ImageCast X 5.5-A allows physically proximate attackers to gain privileges via a terminal emulator. The software image bundles a Terminal Emulator application that exposes command-line functionality outside the intended ballot-marking workflow. Physical device access is required; successful use permits privilege escalation and installation of malicious code.
