Mutable attestation in ImageCast X application 5.5.10.30 and 5.5.10.32 allows physically proximate attackers to disguise malicious applications. The on-screen hash display, audit-log export, and application export trust self-reported measurements rather than independently protected or verified reporting data. Exploitation requires device access, Election Management System access, or control of files before upload, and false attestations can conceal malicious software from election officials.
