Malicious code installation via untrusted application signatures

Improper signature verification in ImageCast X 5.5-A allows physically proximate attackers to install malicious code from removable media. The device does not validate application signatures to a trusted root certificate, so installed software is not verified against a manufacturer-controlled key. Exploitation requires physical device access, Election Management System access, or modification of files before upload, and malicious code can spread to other vulnerable devices through removable media.
