Unauthenticated data disclosure via proxy address-filter bypass
Published May 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in draw.io before 18.0.4 allows remote attackers to read resources reachable by the server through a crafted /proxy URL. ProxyServlet.checkUrlParameter compares blocked network prefixes against the literal hostname without first resolving it, so alternate IP representations bypass its private-address filter. The unauthenticated endpoint must be deployed and able to reach the target resource; exploitation discloses response content rather than modifying it.
