Unauthenticated link-local disclosure via incomplete proxy validation
Published May 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SSRF in draw.io before 18.0.5 allows remote attackers to read responses from IPv6 link-local services through the web proxy. ProxyServlet.checkUrlParameter resolves a supplied HTTP or HTTPS host but omits InetAddress.isLinkLocalAddress from its rejection checks. An unauthenticated request to a network-reachable proxy can therefore reach link-local resources and return their contents; the published impact is disclosure only.
