Unauthenticated SQL injection via ordering_by parameter
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in CodePeople CP Image Store with Slideshow before 1.0.68 allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries. On pages embedding the store shortcode, the plugin inserts the ordering_by query value into an SQL statement without sanitization or escaping. No authentication is required; a crafted request can alter query logic or induce a database delay, as demonstrated by the published proof of concept.
