Database query manipulation via unsanitized orderby
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Five Minute Webshop 1.3.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to alter SQL query execution through Manage Products. The Manage Products handler inserts the orderby query parameter into an SQL statement without adequate validation or sanitization. Administrator-level access is required, and the verified time-delay payload forces the database query to pause for five seconds.
