Administrator SQL injection via unescaped idslider parameter
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
SQL injection in Webpsilon Cube Slider 1.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with administrator access to alter SQL queries. The WordPress administration handler inserts the idslider POST parameter into edit, delete, and save SQL queries without sanitization or escaping. Administrator access to the plugin settings page is required; crafted time-delay expressions demonstrate control over query logic and can modify database data.
