User-session script execution via unvalidated Back link
Published May 12, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in FacturaScripts before 2022.07 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser through a crafted URL. The EditPageOption controller copies the unvalidated url query parameter into the Back link's destination, so a javascript URI executes when that link is selected. No authentication is required to supply the URL, but a user must open the crafted request and select Back; the script then runs in that user's FacturaScripts session.
