Reflected XSS via unescaped error query parameter
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reflected XSS in Greenwallet WooCommerce Green Wallet Gateway before 1.0.2 allows remote attackers to execute script via a crafted URL. The checkout error path inserts the error_envision query parameter into the response page without output escaping, so browser markup remains active. Exploitation requires a victim to open the attacker-controlled URL; script execution is limited to the site's browser origin and the victim's session.
