Custom URL deletion via missing CSRF verification
Published Jul 17, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in Insights from Google PageSpeed before 4.0.7 allows remote attackers to delete Custom URLs through an administrator. The plugin accepts an action=delete request on its Custom URLs administration page without verifying a CSRF token. A logged-in administrator must be induced to load the crafted request, which performs the deletion with that administrator's session.
