CVE-2022-1657Network attack vector

Authenticated file inclusion via traversal in AJAX actions

Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Feb 13, 2025

Path traversal in Artbees Jupiter 6.10.1 and earlier and Jupiter X 2.0.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to include local PHP files. The mka_cp_load_pane_action and jupiterx_cp_load_pane_action AJAX handlers pass the attacker-controlled slug parameter to control-panel pane loaders without confining the resolved path. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and included files execute in the WordPress server context, exposing protected data such as nonce values and enabling restricted actions.
