Stored XSS via unescaped field labels
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in Subtle Web Inc FormCraft before 1.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to run script in viewers' browsers. The form editor stores Field Label values without sanitizing them and renders those labels without escaping, so event-handler markup executes when the form is reopened or embedded. Administrator-level form-editing access is required even when unfiltered_html is disabled, and exploitation can alter displayed content or access data available to the viewing session.
