Administrator-level stored XSS via unescaped settings
Published May 30, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Call&Book Mobile Bar 1.2.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via plugin settings. The plugin accepts payloads in any settings field and later emits the stored values without sanitization or context-appropriate escaping. Administrator-level access is required even when unfiltered_html is disabled, and the injected script runs when a user views the affected output.
