Unauthenticated PHP execution via REST backdoor
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 2, 2025
Code injection in Weblizar The School Management Pro before 9.9.7 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP via a REST request. The obfuscated license-checking code registers the /wp-json/am-member/license handler and accepts the blowf request value as PHP code for execution. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation runs attacker-supplied PHP in the WordPress site's execution context.
