Stored cross-site scripting in External Links in New Window / New Tab before 1.43 allows remote attackers to execute script via crafted URLs. The plugin concatenates unescaped URL data into onclick event-handler JavaScript, allowing stored payloads to reach rendered links. Exploitation requires a victim to load the affected page and interact with the link, enabling script execution in the site origin with confidentiality and integrity impact but no direct service interruption.
