Administrator-session script execution via unescaped product keyword
Published May 4, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
DOM-based cross-site scripting in Microweber 1.2.15 and earlier allows remote attackers to run JavaScript in an administrator's browser. The admin order-filter template embeds the productKeyword value directly in a JavaScript autocomplete placeholder without neutralization. An administrator must open the crafted product-search request; the resulting script alters page content or reads cookies available to browser scripts.
