Stored script execution via unsanitized article POST data
Published Apr 29, 2022 · Updated Apr 15, 2025
Stored XSS in emlog Pro 1.2.0 through 1.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted article POST data. The article submission handler accepts script-bearing POST values and persists them without neutralizing executable markup before later page rendering. An account with signup and login access must submit the payload, and another user's browser must render the affected article for script execution.
