Stored XSS via unsanitized plugin metadata
Published Apr 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in FacturaScripts before 2022.06 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through an uploaded ZIP plugin. Core/Base/PluginManager.php parses the archive's plugin INI metadata and copied its name and description into display data without stripping HTML tags. A user who can upload a plugin can plant the payload; execution requires another user to view the stored metadata, enabling actions in that user's browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
