Requested-asset disclosure via missing index authorization
Published Apr 28, 2022 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Missing authorization in Snipe-IT before 5.4.4 allows remote authenticated users to view other users' requested assets. AssetsController::getRequestedIndex queries uncanceled checkout requests without invoking the Asset index authorization policy. Any authenticated account that can reach the requested-assets route can read request, user, and requested-item records beyond its assigned permissions.
