Context escape in all versions of AVEVA InTouch Access Anywhere and Plant SCADA Access Anywhere allows remote authenticated users to run OS commands. The Windows Language Bar UI is overlaid in the streamed browser session and can be manipulated to open an OS command prompt outside the application context. The server must have the Windows Language Bar enabled; commands run under the authenticated user’s security context without privilege elevation.
