Arbitrary code execution via unsafe option unserialization
Published May 10, 2022 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
PHP object injection in wpdevelop Booking Calendar 9.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject objects through timeline options. The define_request_view_params_from_params function in core/timeline/v2/wpbc-class-timeline_v2.php passes attacker-controlled timeline_obj[options] or shortcode options to PHP unserialize without rejecting object data. Unauthenticated reachability requires a published timeline; otherwise authenticated shortcode access is required, and code execution depends on a compatible POP chain supplied by another installed component.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
